As multi-generational living continues to rise, a separate dwelling can give both elderly relatives and young adults unable to afford a place of their own the independence as well as family support when they need it.

There are numerous benefits to several generations sharing the same property, including acting as a stepping stone for young adults saving for a house deposit, or having retired grandparents on hand to help with looking after their grandchildren. For older relatives, having family nearby provides company and assistance.

Our single storey oak annexes and two storey garden cottages are in many cases adaptations of our standard outbuildings however we can also design fully bespoke buildings. Features such as exposed oak beams, trusses & purlins create a wow factor from within whilst dormer windows, French doors and full height glazing add charm and enable you to ‘bring the outside in.’
